After a very long hiatus, Producing While Asian (PWA) in all its forms and our host Don Mike Mendoza is making their comeback in 2026, and here is how we will reintroduce the brand to YOU, our valued followers:
THE PODCAST
The Podcast form of Producing While Asian will make its re-debut in May 2026 during Asian American Pacific Heritage Month (APAHM). In our continued effort to celebrate Asian American/Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander identities in all their forms, look for a new episode each week during APAHM! While past episodes are having their content re-edited to remove our original network that housed us until 2024, you will soon be able to hear all episodes, old and new, wherever you download your favorite podcasts!
THE BLOG
The Blog form of Producing While Asian will be a tool that supports the podcast and delves deeper into the topics discussed on the show and across the show’s social media platforms. There will also be special announcements here that can also be found on the PWA social media platforms.
OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL
Followers will still be able to watch each podcast interview on our YouTube Channel one week after each episode drops wherever you download your favorite podcasts. This way, our more visual fans can see the artists they hear, know, and love on their screens!
ON SOCIAL MEDIA
You can still follow Producing While Asian on Facebook and Instagram, we are now on Bluesky, and will launch on January 5, 2026 on TikTok! From January through April 2026, we will post exclusive content here before the podcast relaunches that will include Q&A moments with our guests, BTS at venues, and recaps of special events that will continue even after the show comes back online. As always, we invite you to leave your feedback on these channels to help us make the show the best it can be for what you want to see and learn about!
